Global Digital Marketing Performance Report: Q4 2010

The fourth quarter of 2010 marked the end of a strong year for the digital marketing space and Efficient Frontier. We saw growth across the channels of search, display and social media advertising. In particular, the search marketing sector continued to grow in Q4 2010, capping off a strong year in all of the key verticals. In terms of display, Google's AdX attracted more advertising dollars at the close of 2010 due to competition among advertisers and increased consumer confidence.  Early results of the Facebook channel demonstrate that not only is the channel its own substantial market but that it has the potential to positively influence both the search and display channels. We anticipate that display and social media advertising will continue to attract advertising spend in 2011.
